Role Overview:

As the Head, Business Intelligence & Internal Systems, you will be responsible for the Company's internally built dashboards, MIS reporting and internal systems, including our HR ERP.

These systems were developed in-house over several years and are central to how the leadership team runs the business. This is a technical role as much as a data role: a meaningful share of the work involves keeping internally built dashboards, integrations and the ERP running diagnosing breakdowns, resolving API disconnects between POS, Shopify, Tally and the reporting layer, and repairing pipelines when source systems change. The role reports directly to the Founders.

Responsibilities:

- Maintaining and administering the Company's dashboard and MIS suite company-wide and brand-level reporting covering sales, margin, inventory, sell-through and store performance.

- Maintaining the Company's internally built HR ERP and other internal tools in production use, including their data models, integrations and administration.

- Owning the integrations between POS systems, Shopify, Tally and the reporting layer including prompt diagnosis and resolution of API disconnects, credential expiries and breakdowns when source systems are updated.

- Ensuring data integrity and reconciliation across source systems, so that the leadership team works from a single accurate version of the truth.

- Documenting all systems, pipelines and integrations, and progressively rebuilding fragile components on a more maintainable foundation.

- Automating manual, recurring reporting and reconciliation work across the head office using automation and AI-assisted tools.

- Developing new analytical work once existing systems are stable buy planning support, ecommerce performance views and franchise reporting prioritized jointly with the Founder & CEO.

Candidate Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

- Must have 3-6 years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence or a hybrid data-and-systems role.

- Expertise in SQL and Power BI (or an equivalent platform), with competence in Python or similar for pipelines, integrations and automation.

- Hands-on experience maintaining production systems debugging integrations, working with REST APIs and supporting tools that colleagues rely on daily not solely building new ones.

- Working knowledge of Shopify, Tally and retail POS data structures would be a strong advantage.

- Experience implementing or administering business systems (ERP, HRMS or similar) would be an advantage.

- A practical, current user of AI-assisted development tools, able to demonstrate how they accelerate real work.

- Rigorous documentation habits and comfort operating as the sole owner of this function initially, with a junior appointment envisaged in due course.
