Position Summary
To lead the strategic management, positioning, and execution of herbicide portfolio. This includes developing brand plans, driving adoption of a groundbreaking innovation and the first new mode of action chemistry in herbicides in over three decades-while ensuring overall portfolio growth, brand equity, and alignment with global strategy.
The Role (daily responsibilities)
Strategic Planning & Brand Plan Development
1. Develop comprehensive annual brand plans for the herbicide portfolio, integrating market insights, competitive analysis, and growth opportunities.
2. Define brand positioning and value propositions to highlight the significance of leadership in crop protection.
3. Align brand plans with regional and global priorities, ensuring consistency and impact.
Portfolio Management
1. Manage product lifecycle, pricing strategy, and portfolio profitability.
2. Drive successful launches & ensure effective market introduction.
Marketing Execution
1. Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, dealer, and farmer touchpoints.
2. Develop communication materials that simplify technical benefits into farmer-centric messaging.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Partner with sales, regulatory, supply chain, and R&D teams to ensure product availability and compliance.
2. Provide training and support to sales teams for effective dealer and farmer engagement.
Performance Monitoring
1. Track brand performance metrics including sales, market share, and profitability.
2. Conduct market research and crop impact analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
3. Provide regular updates and insights to leadership for decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement
1. Strengthen relationships with dealers, distributors, and farmer communities.
2. Represent at industry forums, exhibitions, and farmer meetings to enhance brand visibility.
