Brand Head (D2C Fashion House)
Location: Bangalore (On-site)

I. The Mission: Building a Fashion Empire
As the Brand Head, you are a strategic leader responsible for the long-term P&L and equity of a significant portfolio of fashion brands. You will oversee the entire brand lifecyclefrom identifying white spaces in the market to scaling brands into 100-crore entities. You are the bridge between the Founders/Investment Committee and the execution teams. Your success is measured by Market Share, Brand Health Scores, and Portfolio Profitability.
II. Advanced Strategic Responsibilities
1. P&L Ownership & Commercial Strategy
- Financial Stewardship: Full accountability for the marketing budget and P&L of the assigned brand portfolio. You will optimize the marketing spend to achieve the best balance between Brand Awareness and Performance.
- Pricing & Positioning: Define the pricing architecture for different brands in the portfolio to ensure they don't cannibalize each other while capturing maximum market share in sub-categories (e.g., Athleisure, Streetwear, Ethnic).
2. Portfolio Expansion & New Product Development (NPD)
- White Space Analysis: Identify "pockets of opportunity" in the Indian fashion landscape. You will lead the conceptualization and launch of new brands or sub-brands to fill these gaps.
- Product-Marketing Synergy: Collaborate with Sourcing and Design heads to ensure that the product pipeline aligns with the brand promise and market trends.
3. Leadership & Agency Ecosystem
- Team Management: Direct and mentor a team of Brand Managers, Creative Directors, and Performance Experts. You will foster a culture of "Fail Fast, Learn Faster."
- Partner Management: Oversee the relationships with Creative, Media, and PR agencies, ensuring high-quality output and optimal commercial terms.
III. Strategic Branding & Public Relations
- Brand Narrative: Craft high-decibel narratives that put the brands in the news. You will lead large-scale celebrity associations and strategic partnerships.
- Omnichannel Vision: Guide the brands as they transition from "Pure-play Online" to "Omnichannel," including EBO (Exclusive Brand Outlet) strategies and SIS (Shop-in-Shop) placements.
IV. Required Pedigree & Skills
- Experience: 510 years of proven experience in building and scaling brands. A background in Fashion Retail or Digital-First Startups is a must.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to look at data and see a story. You should be comfortable with high-level financial modeling and long-term brand equity tracking.
- Communication: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills. You will be pitching strategies to the Board and external investors.
- Education: MBA from a Tier-1 B-School (IIM A/B/C, ISB, XLRI).
