Position : Delivery Head (Shared Services)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Leader at the level of Head (Shared Services) to Manage the team of 200+ associates deployed at Gurugram, India location. This person will report into US CEO and have dotted line reporting to the leader in India.

Key Accountabilities:

The person will be responsible for the leadership of the Shared Service Centre (SSC) to enable delivery of Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales (Account Management), Analytics, F&A and other related responsibilities at Bioworld. The role will be responsible for leading a team of professionals from above domains. The role will enable consistency, scalability, and efficiency for repeatable, location specific activities and enable capability development across various departmental functions. In addition, collaborating with global stakeholders the role will drive and implement innovation and best practice in ways of working.

Responsibilities:

- Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic direction and vision for the SSC in alignment with Bioworld's overall business objectives. Applies advanced judgement, planning and independent thought leadership to influence business program outcomes and drive the team deliverables. Leadership of approx. 200+ employees, creating an inclusive, supportive culture, responsible for recruitment, retention, development, and motivation of team members. Act as an influential leader by driving change and working with global stakeholders to establish ways of working. Provide robust relevant in-depth knowledge of efficient organizations and processes to support the growth and evolution of the Bioworld's processes and leverage this knowledge to drive improvements aligned with corporate priorities.

- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations across the assigned functions. Areas of responsibility will include Account Services to our buyers, Vendor Management, managing approvals, contracting, performance analytics and F&A services. Develop, improve and implement operational processes/KPIs that optimize efficiency and ensure consistency thus drive operational excellence.

- Decision Making: Responsible for establishing ways of working for teams within the SSC. Influence strategic direction of delivery and capabilities across the team.

- Stakeholder Management: Engage with leaders and partner groups to ensure alignment and collaboration of strategies, and priorities. Proactively create communication channels and engagement model with stakeholders to establish ways of working and connectivity.

- Team Management: Role-model leadership behaviour to direct reports who look to this role to create clarity and vision for what great looks like Attract, recruit, retain, and develop talent, fostering development and personal growth. Create a collaborative and inclusive culture, with a focus on knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and innovation.

Job Requirements:

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus 15+ years relevant, progressive experience in leading a Service Setup/ Captive Unit. MBA/ PG Diploma in relevant field would be an added advantage. Experience working in a in leadership positions, successfully leading teams to deliver across various business functions. Experience in leading and implementing process implications and improvements. Relies on experience influencing executives to drive results for Bioworld. Provide expert insight across source to pay processes. Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

Experience:

Extensive experience working in a SSC/ GCC. Working knowledge with ERPs, and systems (Microsoft-Business Central, EDI, Power BI, etc. desirable). Ability to leverage standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to develop detailed business cases. Track record of people management. Ability to build consensus, teamwork, and creativity within a collaborative team with limited supervision.
