Description:

Job Title : Manager.

Function/Department: Legal.

Job Location: Azamabad (Near RTC Cross Roads), Hyderabad.

- We are seeking an experienced Junior Legal Counsel (5 TO 7 years PQE) to join our in-house legal team.

- The role requires a proactive legal professional with strong expertise in commercial contracts, compliance, and regulatory frameworks applicable to the pharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturing sector.

- The successful candidate will work closely with the Vice President Legal, supporting strategic transactions and providing legal guidance across the organization.

- Contracting & Commercial Transactions: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements: supply, distribution, licensing, joint ventures, procurement, R&D collaborations, and confidentiality agreements.

Compliance & Regulatory Support: Ensure compliance with Indian pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare regulations (Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Companies Act, labor laws, and data protection).

- Dispute Resolution & Litigation: Manage disputes, regulatory investigations, and litigation in coordination with external counsel.

- Draft responses to legal notices, regulator communications, and compliance queries.

- Strategic Legal Advisory: Conduct legal research and provide expert advice on evolving laws and their business impact.

- Support M&A, strategic partnerships, and cross-border transactions.

- Partner with internal stakeholders (procurement, R&D, sales, HR, operations) to structure legally sound business transactions.

Requirements:.

- Bachelors degree in law (LL.B) from a recognized university.

- 5 TO 7 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed law firm or in-house legal team, ideally in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or manufacturing.

- Solid knowledge of commercial law, contracts, corporate governance, and pharma regulatory frameworks.

- Proven experience handling complex agreements and regulatory compliance matters.

- Strong communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide practical solutions.
