
Job Description: Key Account Manager
Position Overview: The Key Account Manager is responsible for identifying potential clients, presenting software solutions, generating leads, and closing sales. The role involves understanding customer needs, giving product demos, and maintaining long-term client relationships to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Create and manage a qualified lead pipeline.
- Research market trends and target customer segments.
Sales & Client Interaction:
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and pricing.
- Follow up with clients and convert leads into sales.
- Negotiate terms and close deals.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Handle client queries and coordinate with the technical/support team.
- Build long-term relations to generate repeat business and referrals.
Coordination:
- Provide customer feedback for product improvement.
- Update CRM with leads, calls, meetings, and sales activities.
Reporting:
- Track performance against targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software/SaaS/B2B sales.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and explain technical products.
