About the Role
As Senior Manager Internal Communications & Employer Branding, you will lead the design and execution of communication strategies that drive employee engagement, strengthen organizational culture, and enhance BigBaskets employer brand.
This role anchors the organization-wide communication charter and focuses on positioning BigBasket as an employer of choice through strategic internal and external communication, thought leadership, and digital storytellingespecially across platforms like LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies aligned with business goals and cultural objectives.
- Define and maintain the HR Communication Charter and frameworks to ensure message clarity and consistency.
- Partner with HR, leadership, and business teams to deliver impactful organizational messages and campaigns.
- Create, edit, and manage engaging content for newsletters, intranet, leadership emails, and internal events.
- Manage all internal communication channels to ensure a unified tone, message, and brand voice.
- Oversee BigBaskets LinkedIn and other employer branding platformsplan content calendars, drive engagement, and showcase culture, people, and achievements.
- Develop creative messaging for social media campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and employee advocacy programs.
- Drive employee engagement through storytelling, recognition programs, and culture-building campaigns.
- Support senior leadership communicationdraft key messages, presentations, and talking points.
- Plan and execute company-wide events, announcements, and town halls across various communication channels.
- Collaborate with creative teams to design visually engaging communication materials.
- Measure communication effectiveness through analytics, feedback, and surveys, and continuously improve engagement strategies.
What Were Looking For
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling, editing, and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with an understanding of tone, timing, and impact.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced environment (experience in e-commerce or product-led organizations preferred).
- Strong understanding of digital communication tools and employee engagement platforms (especially LinkedIn).
- High emotional intelligence, creativity, and attention to detail in content delivery.
Qualification & Experience
- Masters degree (MBA/MA) in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism.
- 8-10 years of experience in internal or corporate communications, with exposure to change management, leadership messaging, and employee engagement initiatives.
