What would you be doing/ Expected from this role ? - Lead a team of SDETs and QA engineers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance management. - Define and implement the test strategy, automation roadmap, and best practices. - Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and build test plans. - Architect and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks across APIs, UI, and mobile platforms. - Ensure high levels of automation coverage and test effectiveness across the SDLC. - Drive the adoption of CI/CD and integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines. - Analyze test results, track quality metrics, and identify areas for continuous improvement. - Champion a culture of quality and shift-left testing across engineering teams. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions. Who are we looking for ? - 10+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar languages. - Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, etc. - Experience in API testing, performance testing, and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Postman, OWASP ZAP). - Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.), and cloud infrastructure. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
