Key Responsibilities:
Category & Brand Management:
- Own and manage assigned categories and brands end-to-end.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance category performance and customer engagement.
Sales & Profitability:
- Drive category sales and meet profitability targets.
- Track key performance metrics and take timely action to improve results.
Marketing Investment:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns for categories.
- Allocate marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI and brand visibility.
Inventory Management:
- Optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Reduce wastage, stock-outs, and carrying costs through efficient planning.
Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong vendor and brand partner relationships.
- Negotiate margins, terms, and joint business plans to support category growth.
Pricing & Promotion:
- Develop competitive pricing strategies based on market insights.
- Plan and execute promotions to drive sales and improve conversion.
New City Launch Support:
- Manage all category-related activities during new city rollouts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with supply chain, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
- Ensure alignment with overall business goals and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred).
- Prior experience in FMCG category management (Food, Non-food, Pharmacy, or Beverages preferred).
- Based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate.
- Min: 2 Yrs relevant experience.
