Logistics Excellence lead - NIVEA India Pvt Ltd JOB DESCRIPTION - Logistics Excellence Lead Role Overview : As the Logistics Excellence Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for spearheading a transformative agenda to optimize end-to-end logistics and fulfilment processes. This role encompasses driving efficiencies in secondary transportation, enhancing warehouse operations, and leading digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Additionally, the incumbent will focus on fostering sustainable logistics practices, strengthening collaboration with logistics vendors, utilizing performance analytics to drive continuous improvement, and ensuring strict compliance with all relevant regulations. Detailed Responsibilities (non-conclusive): 1) Process Optimization: - Lead efforts to streamline and optimize end-to-end logistics and fulfillment processes. - Drive efficiencies in secondary transportation and warehouse operations to improve overall logistics performance. 2) Digital Transformation: - Implement and manage Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solutions. - Champion the integration of advanced digital technologies to enhance logistics visibility, tracking, and automation. 3) Sustainable Logistics: - Develop and promote eco-friendly logistics practices, focusing on reducing the carbon footprint and enhancing resource efficiency. - Implement strategies to optimize routes and improve sustainable warehouse practices 4) Vendor Collaboration: - Strengthen relationships with logistics vendors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services. - Drive collaboration initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness. 5) Performance Analytics: - Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics efficiency and effectiveness. - Utilize advanced analytics to gain insights into logistics performance and drive data-driven decision-making. 6) Compliance and Risk Management: Required Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a strong track record of driving process improvements and digital transformations. - Basic knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), and other relevant logistics capabilities - Strong understanding of sustainable logistics practices and regulations. - Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
