Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup, stabilization, and transformation of end-to-end finance and accounting functions for new and existing clients.
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to IGAAP, Ind AS, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Drive timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Review and finalize financial statements, management reports, MIS dashboards, cash flow reports, and other critical business performance metrics.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on finance transformation, process optimization, accounting policies, and compliance matters.
- Develop and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and high client satisfaction.
- Lead resolution of client escalations by identifying root causes, implementing corrective measures, and strengthening control environments.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholder interactions, including auditors, tax experts, legal advisors, compliance specialists, and independence teams.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams through effective workforce planning, coaching, training, and performance management.
- Support talent acquisition initiatives, including interviewing, selection, onboarding, and retention of key team members.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and process re-engineering to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Lead large and complex engagements, ensuring delivery excellence, profitability, and achievement of key performance indicators.
- Drive business development efforts through opportunity identification, proposal preparation, solution design, and client presentations.
- Participate in commercial discussions, contract reviews, and fee negotiations with prospective and existing clients.
- Ensure completion of risk management, legal, compliance, and independence requirements prior to client onboarding and engagement acceptance.
- Contribute to practice growth initiatives by developing market insights, strengthening client networks, and identifying emerging service opportunities.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) from a premier institution; candidates with executive programs from IIMs preferred.
- 8 - 15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing, Controllership, Shared Services, Consulting, or Business Advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IGAAP, financial reporting, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in client relationship management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process transformation, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in proposal development, business development, and revenue growth.
