- Mandatory Requirement: Prior working experience in Odisha market and ownership of a four-wheeler

- The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving territory sales, managing a field sales team, expanding distribution networks, and ensuring strong execution of sales strategies in the assigned region. The role demands leadership ability, trade knowledge, and strong stakeholder management skills to deliver revenue and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

- Manage, mentor, and motivate the field sales team to ensure optimal productivity.

- Expand market reach through new retailer and distributor acquisitions.

- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, stockists, and trade partners.

- Monitor primary and secondary sales performance and take corrective actions.

- Execute trade marketing initiatives and ensure placement of promotional materials.

- Analyze sales data, competitor activities, and market trends to identify opportunities.

- Track distributor performance related to sales, inventory, claims, and credit control.

- Conduct regular market visits to evaluate brand visibility and trade execution.

- Prepare accurate sales reports and MIS for management review.

- Ensure implementation of sales processes and adherence to company policies.

- Address field escalations, resolve trade issues, and ensure service excellence.

Required Skillsets:

- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

- In-depth knowledge of FMCG/OTC trade channels and distribution structure.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.

- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.

- Problem-solving attitude with a growth-driven approach.
