Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Horeca Sales Head to lead and drive our sales strategy within the Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering (Horeca) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our Horeca sales operations, developing strong relationships with key clients, and leading a dynamic sales team to achieve growth targets. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent leadership, and a deep understanding of the Horeca market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Horeca channel to achieve sales targets and market growth.

- Identify new market opportunities, including key accounts and potential partnerships.

- Set sales objectives, KPIs, and forecast sales volumes.

2. Team Leadership and Management:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Horeca sales team, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.

- Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to achieve targets.

3. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including hotels, restaurants, and catering companies.

- Develop customized solutions and sales pitches tailored to client needs.

- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address any service or product-related issues promptly.

4. Market Analysis and Business Development:

- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

- Expand the customer base by identifying and converting new accounts.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities that drive sales.

5. Pricing and Negotiation:

- Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

- Lead negotiations with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare regular sales reports, including sales performance, market trends, and forecasts.

- Utilize data to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.

- Provide feedback on product performance and customer needs to the product development team.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

- Proven experience (5+ years) in a sales leadership role within the Horeca sector.

- Strong understanding of the Horeca market dynamics, trends, and key players.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.

- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
