Role Overview:
The Senior Manager - Compensation & Benefits role at Axis Bank is a critical position responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the bank's compensation and benefits programs. This role collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure that the compensation and benefits strategies are aligned with the bank's overall business objectives and are competitive in the market. The Senior Manager plays a key role in attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent within the organization, ultimately contributing to the bank's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and administer compensation programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and long-term incentive plans, to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Manage the benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits, to optimize cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in compensation and benefits.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to provide guidance and support on compensation and benefits related matters for their respective business units.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Manage the annual compensation review process, including salary budgeting, performance-based pay adjustments, and bonus payouts.
- Develop and deliver communication materials to educate employees about the bank's compensation and benefits programs.
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships with benefits providers to ensure high-quality service and cost-effective solutions.
- Participate in compensation surveys and analyze survey data to inform compensation decisions.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to design and administer compensation and benefits programs that align with business objectives.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret compensation data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits.
