The Opportunity :
- Develop and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and equipment alternatives, including determining the tooling requirements and sequence of operations necessary for the production of parts.
- Responsible for operational excellence via efficient process design. Ensure continuous improvement in process, cost, quality, and production. Manage all engineering projects and resolves engineering problems.
- Provide input to strategic decisions that affect manufacturing technologies.
- Resolve escalated issues arising from operations. Manage a team within a discipline or department, typically comprised of career/intermediate professionals or Supervisors.
- Responsible for preparation of Engineering department budget and control the expenses of his/her department. Ensure all utility cost are as per the targeted norms.
- Ensure Uninterrupted power supply to the plant. Compliance to statutory requirements in Engineering department.
- Regular maintenance of plant & Utility equipment& Critical safety equipments. Ensure Zero incidents and accidents at site.
- Responsible for ISO, SAP, and other operating system implementation into his department.
- Evaluate the equipment vendors technically and finalize the procurement from them.. Monitor the minimum inventory of the critical equipment spares.
- Responsible for preparing & implementing the safety procedures with respect to chemical handling in the plant.

Education : B.E. / B.Tech. / in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical.
Experience : 8+ years of experience handling plant maintenance in Pharma/Chemical manufacturing industry especially in solvent handling companies, Minimum 5 yrs Team Handling exposure. Project Handling exposure will be preferred.
