About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and driven Industry Relations Lead to build and strengthen partnerships with corporates, startups, and recruitment teams to create meaningful internship and placement opportunities for students from top colleges, with a strong focus on supporting FGLI (First-Generation and Low-Income) students in achieving successful career outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management capabilities, experience working with hiring teams, and the ability to independently drive employer engagement and recruitment coordination initiatives.

Key Responsibilities


- Build and manage strategic relationships with corporates, startups, recruitment agencies, and hiring managers.

- Identify and create internship, live project, and full-time placement opportunities for students.

- Understand employer hiring requirements and align suitable student talent pipelines accordingly.

- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including outreach, scheduling, communication, and follow-ups.

- Maintain accurate candidate databases, hiring trackers, placement reports, and engagement metrics.

- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare students for recruitment opportunities and improve placement outcomes.

- Drive employer engagement initiatives, networking events, and campus hiring collaborations.

- Ensure a high-quality experience for recruiters, hiring partners, and student stakeholders.

- Track hiring trends, industry insights, and partnership opportunities to strengthen placement strategies.

- Take ownership of targets, timelines, and partnership deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 7-12 years of experience in Industry Relations, Corporate Partnerships, Campus Recruitment, Placements, Talent Acquisition, or related roles.


- Strong network across corporates, startups, and HR/recruitment ecosystems.


- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

- Analytical mindset with experience in maintaining trackers, reports, and recruitment data.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and recruitment cycles simultaneously.

- High ownership, execution focus, and problem-solving capability.

- Passion for education, career development, and creating opportunities for FGLI students is highly preferred.
