
Sales Director - Public Sector Unit
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Public Sector business in India. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SaaS-based solutions, enterprise sales, and building strong relationships within government and public sector organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for the Public Sector segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government and public sector organizations.
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting to closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to deliver tailored solutions.
- Forecast sales performance and ensure achievement of quarterly and annual targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, compliance requirements, and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in SaaS or technology solutions.
- 5+ years of proven success in selling to PSU/ Government clients.
- Strong understanding of public procurement processes, RFPs, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large government projects or tenders.
- Familiarity with compliance and procurement processes in the public sector.
- MBA or equivalent degree is a plus.
