About the job:
- The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales of IT solutions and services, focusing on Security, Cloud, and Data, to large and mid-sized enterprises in the BFSI sector.
- The role requires strong solution-selling skills, deep domain knowledge of BFSI IT environments, and the ability to engage with C-level decision-makers to position the company's offerings as value enablers for business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development and Sales Execution:
- Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) segment.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline aligned with quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Drive solution-oriented sales for offerings in Cybersecurity, Cloud Services, Data Platforms, and Managed Security Services.
- Lead customer engagement from prospecting through proposal submission, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Collaborate with internal pre-sales, delivery, and product teams to build tailored proposals and technical solutions.
2. Account Management and Growth:
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with CXOs, CIOs, CISOs, and IT Heads within key BFSI accounts.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with key clients to identify opportunities for expansion or cross-sell.
- Maintain strong awareness of client business and IT transformation initiatives.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the sales and post-sales lifecycle.
3. Market and Industry Intelligence:
- Monitor BFSI industry trends, regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI, IRDAI, SEBI IT frameworks), and emerging technologies.
- Gather competitive intelligence and identify whitespace opportunities for new solutions or service offerings.
- Represent the organization at BFSI and technology forums, trade shows, and industry events.
4. Collaboration and Internal Enablement:
- Work closely with marketing and solution teams to create sector-focused campaigns.
- Provide feedback to product management and leadership teams on market trends and client needs.
- Contribute to developing sales playbooks, case studies, and go-to-market strategies.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in enterprise IT solution sales, preferably with exposure to Security, Cloud, or Data solutions.
- Proven track record of managing and closing high-value deals (50 Lakh - 5 Crore+) in BFSI accounts.
- Experience working with technology OEMs (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Fortinet, Palo Alto, IBM) and system integrators.
Technical and Functional Skills:
Strong understanding of:
- Cybersecurity frameworks (SOC, SIEM, VAPT, Zero Trust, MDR, etc.)
- Cloud models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and multi-cloud strategies
- Data solutions (analytics, governance, storage, and security)
- Knowledge of BFSI-specific IT compliance and risk management requirements.
- Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and communication skills.

- Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to operate independently.
- Ability to engage with senior executives and influence strategic IT decisions.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
Qualification:
- Graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Electronics.
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (preferred).
