AVP - Construction (Northern India) Job Description: Specific Experience (Industry, Company, Function etc: - Should have work experience executing projects in NCR / Delhi Region - Experience in handling end to end project life cycle, from project initiation and handing over - Hands on experience in civil execution work in industrial development is preferred - Hands on experience in execution of pre-engineered building (PEB) will be preferred Basic Qualification: B.E (Civil Engineering) or M.E/M.Tech Professional Qualification: Master of Construction Management will be an added advantage Technical Qualification: Preferred MS Projects; - Exposure to ERP will be an added advantage Skills: 1. In depth Knowledge of Construction Methodology for Warehouses OR Industrial Plants. 2. Good with Project Management Tools 3. Proficient in preparing estimates/BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and tender packages. 4. Vendor and Contractor Management 5. Problem-solving & decision making Core Job Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the project/s construction 2. To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals 3. Introduce construction benchmarks and standards. 4. Lead the planning and implementation of project. 5. Plan and schedule project timelines 6. Define project tasks and resource requirements. 7. Coordinates Project related approvals, activities with Government or other agencies as required. 8. Management of existing clients & Liaison with external agencies, Govt. officials, vendor development & mgmt. 9. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools & provide direction and support to project team. 10. Manage project budget & project resource allocation. 11. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. 12. Responsible for the profitability of the projects to the company at large. 13. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
