Associate/Senior Associate - Financial Sponsors Group

Role Overview:

Leading private markets-focused investment banking platform looking to hire a commercially driven Senior Associate to work closely with the Financial Sponsors Coverage Head. The role combines investor coverage, market intelligence, deal distribution and origination support across PE funds, family offices and institutional investors.

This is a high-ownership role with strong exposure to private markets, fundraising ecosystems and investor conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Track and manage relationships across PE funds, growth investors and family offices

- Maintain investor databases, portfolio trackers and sponsor intelligence

- Support distribution and outreach for live transactions

- Prepare market maps, thematic research, briefing notes and investor materials

- Track fundraising trends, portfolio activity and sector developments

- Work closely with senior bankers on sponsor conversations and origination initiatives

Ideal Candidate:

- 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking/ECM/Private Markets VC/Growth Equity ecosystem

- Investor Coverage / Sponsor Coverage

- Deal Advisory / Market Intelligence

- Strong understanding of fundraising and investor ecosystems

- Strong communication, research and relationship management skills

- High ownership mindset and ability to operate in lean teams
