Role Overview:
As an Associate/ Senior Associate in our Financial Due Diligence team, you will play a crucial role in conducting financial due diligence engagements for our clients. You will work closely with engagement managers and partners, interacting directly with clients and target company management teams. Your work will directly impact investment decisions, helping clients assess risks and opportunities associated with potential transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements and related data to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities for potential acquisitions or investments.
- Prepare detailed financial due diligence reports summarizing findings and recommendations for clients.
- Develop financial models to project future performance and assess the financial impact of potential transactions for investment decisions.
- Participate in client meetings and management interviews to gather information and validate assumptions for due diligence analysis.
- Assist in identifying potential deal breakers and negotiating points to protect client interests.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support on engagements to foster their professional development.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth financial analysis and interpret financial statements.
- Proven experience in building and utilizing financial models for forecasting and valuation purposes.
- Strong understanding of M&A transaction processes and financial due diligence procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Chartered Accountancy (CA), MBA Finance, or CFA certification is preferred.
