Associate/Senior Associate - Counterparty Credit Stress Testing

Location: Powai, Mumbai

We are seeking a Counterparty Credit Stress Testing professional to join its Risk Management function. This role requires strong domain knowledge in counterparty credit risk, derivatives, regulatory frameworks, and risk system development, within an investment banking environment.

Role Overview:

- Define, implement, and enhance counterparty credit stress testing frameworks

- Generate and analyse counterparty credit stress results across multiple - regulatory and internal scenarios, including climate risk

- Assess impact on exposure, P&L, capital, and liquidity

- Support regulatory submissions and senior management reporting

- Streamline scenario execution and reporting processes in collaboration with - Risk Methodology, IT, and CRM teams

- Enhance stress testing infrastructure in line with Basel III and regulatory requirements

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in system development projects, not limited to the capital markets domain

- Python programming skills with hands- on application SQL experience for data extraction and analysis

- 4- 7 years of relevant experience in Counterparty Credit Risk, Stress Testing, or - Risk Analytics

- Strong understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives and repo / securities financing transactions

- Strong understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk under Basel III accords

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel:

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline from a Tier 1 and Premium Institutes
