Associate Partner Designate - General Corporate Law:

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced corporate lawyer to join the General Corporate Law practice at the level of Associate Partner Designate. The role will involve independently managing sophisticated corporate and commercial matters, advising clients and supporting the Partner in business development and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and independently manage complex general corporate and commercial matters.

- Advise clients on corporate, commercial and transactional legal matters.

- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements.

- Advise clients on structuring, governance, regulatory and contractual matters.

- Manage negotiations with clients, counterparties and external stakeholders.

- Provide commercially practical and legally sound advice to clients.

- Review and supervise work undertaken by Associates and junior team members.

- Work closely with the Partner on key client relationships and strategic matters.

- Contribute to the development and growth of the corporate practice.

- Support business development initiatives, including client relationship management and identification of new opportunities.

- Assist in building and mentoring the team.

Candidate Profile:

- 12 - 15 years of relevant experience in general corporate/commercial law.

- Strong experience in independently handling sophisticated corporate matters.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation and advisory skills.

- Strong understanding of corporate and commercial laws and regulatory frameworks.

- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead matters independently.

- Experience in supervising and developing junior lawyers.

- Strong commercial orientation and ability to provide practical legal solutions.

- Business development/client relationship experience would be an advantage.

- Candidates demonstrating readiness to take on broader practice and client-management responsibilities would be preferred.
