Associate Manager - Securities Operations

Job Title : Securities Operations Associate Manager - Account Opening & Maintenance.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Securities Operations Associate Manager to lead Account opening, maintenance, and securities operations activities. This role will drive operational excellence, risk management, process improvements, and team leadership while ensuring high-quality service delivery across securities Operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage teams handling account opening, maintenance, and securities operations, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for operational delivery, escalations, and stakeholder coordination.

- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.

- Develop and implement operational controls and risk management frameworks to mitigate transaction-level risks.

- Conduct process risk assessments and identify opportunities for process efficiency and productivity improvements.

- Support onboarding and transition of new operational functions, including planning and execution of role migrations.

- Oversee client, counterparty, and audit interactions, addressing operational queries and escalations.

- Manage administration of alternative investments, including third-party distribution and operational due diligence of external investment managers.

- Lead system and product testing, including UAT, validation, and parallel testing during system enhancements or migrations.

- Monitor and report operational performance metrics related to volume, turnaround time, and accuracy.

- Develop and maintain operational documentation aligned with quality and information security standards.

- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to meet business objectives.

- Drive team performance management, coaching, appraisals, and talent development.

- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and influence decision-making at multiple levels.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in Securities Operations or equivalent experience.

- 2+ years of people leadership experience managing operational teams.

Desired Qualifications :

- Experience in Account opening and Account maintenance.

- Knowledge on Wealth Management & advisory services.
