- Looking for Associate Manager - Litigation for one of my client in Delhi location.
- LLB with 7-12 years of post-qualification experience in handling litigation.
- This position is essential and critical to oversee various litigation pending before various courts and tribunal, who can effectively handle the cases from investigation to trial, researching legal issues, analyzing & preparation of evidence, drafting/ vetting of pleadings, case file repository, handle and coordination with external counsels.
- This role is vital for ensuring business stability and supporting strategic goals by managing legal disputes effectively so that there is no financial/ operational or reputational impact on operations.
- Handle end to end litigation with sound knowledge of court procedures. Coordination with external counsel for preparation of case (Writ, counter affidavit, evidence, written submission, interlocutory applications, counter claims, preparation of witness for deposition etc.)
- Qualifications typically require a law degree from a reputed law college, experience in handling diverse type of cases, strong analytical, good communication and drafting skills, proficiency in English, legal research, case management software and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Provide legal advice to business teams on various issues which may have impact business operations.
- Timely filing of pleadings. Vetting of pleadings of external counsels to ensure that proper facts/ defence are taken.
- Day to day follow-up of all listed matters and coordination with lawyers.
- Updation of MIS, No adverse order.
- Timely response to legal notices and other business communications and support to business team where legal and commercial understanding is concerned.
- Capable of working independently and a good researcher on the issues involved and interpret relevant laws, regulations and case laws.
- Prepare & update MIS, PPT, update to management on cases, periodic review meetings, department reviews etc. timely processing of lawyer bills.
