Hiring: Finance Middle Office Product Control (Treasury) | Associate (Manager)

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Experience: Associate (Manager: 5-8 years)

We are hiring for a Product Control (Treasury) role within the Global Middle Office, responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial data, P&L reporting, and control frameworks supporting trading and treasury activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce and validate T+1 P&L for Treasury/trading desks across asset classes

- Perform P&L substantiation, attribution, and variance analysis (Flash vs Actual)

- Ensure accuracy of financial statements through daily P&L validation and balance sheet controls

- Conduct independent price verification (IPV) and review valuation inputs

- Investigate and resolve P&L, cash, and balance sheet breaks across systems

- Partner with Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations on trade lifecycle, bookings, and new products

- Support month-end close, GL reconciliation, and regulatory reporting

- Drive process improvements, automation, and control enhancements

- Provide advisory support on new transactions, liquidity, and funding impacts

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong experience in Product Control / P&L Reporting within Investment Banking

- Deep understanding of Treasury / Markets products (Rates, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives)

- Hands-on expertise in P&L attribution (Greeks, market drivers, new deals, carry)

- Experience in valuation controls, IPV, reserves (CVA/FVA/Day 1, bid-ask)

- Strong knowledge of balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation

- Familiarity with front-to-back trade lifecycle and booking models

- Ability to engage with Front Office and challenge P&L movements

- Solid understanding of IFRS / US GAAP and control frameworks (SOX)

Experience:

- 6-12 years of relevant experience in Product Control / Market Risk Finance / Middle Office (Investment Banking)

- Prior experience supporting Treasury or Global Markets desks is essential

Education:

- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / equivalent qualification preferred
