Associate - Legal - Private Equity

Roles and responsibilities:

- Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice on private equity investments, including structuring, financing, and exit strategies.

- Transaction Management: Lead and manage all legal aspects of private equity transactions, from inception through to closing.

- Due Diligence: Oversee and coordinate legal due diligence processes, identifying and mitigating legal risks.

- Document Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate term sheets, investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and other transaction-related documents.

- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including securities laws, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including investment teams, compliance officers, and senior management, to align legal strategies with business objectives.

- External Counsel Management: Manage relationships with external legal advisors, ensuring cost effective and timely legal support.

- Training & Development: Provide training to junior legal staff and other departments on legal issues related to private equity transactions.

- Implementation: Develop and execute business development plans and initiatives.
