
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
- Draft, review, redline, negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts with vendors, logistics partners, SaaS/tech provides, manpower suppliers, contract manufacturers, and material supply agreements.
- Support and execute corporate transactions (M&A, investment, and fundraising).
- Drive continuous improvement in contract lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and risk frameworks.
- Develop and standardize contract templates, negotiation playbooks and work with business teams to ensure legal alignment with commercial objectives.
Compliance & Regulatory Advisory:
- Partner with business teams to anticipate legal risks and shape pragmatic solutions.
- Provide pragmatic legal advice on new business initiatives, expansion plans, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with applications regulatory laws such as FSSAI, Legal Metrology, labour laws, trade/warehouse licenses and allied regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor regulatory developments, interpret implications for the business, and proactively recommend policy/process changes.
IPR & Policy Support:
- Manage the company's IP portfolio and enforcement; ensure clear IP ownership in all contracts.
- Draft internal policies such as code of conduct, anti-bribery, and data protection policies.
An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has :
- LL.B. having 7-9 years PQE. Mandatory prior experience in Tier 1 and Tier 2 law firms and having strong background in M&A, due diligence and fund raising transactions
- Strong contract drafting & negotiation skills
- Knowledge of FDI laws, data protection laws and fin-tech laws
- Ability to work in a face-paced and collaborative environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
- Preference will be given to candidates from Tier 1 law schools
- Prior experience in FMCG, e-commerce, or fin-tech start-ups will be an added advantage.
