
Role Overview:
The Associate Director will spearhead IT procurement strategies, serving as a pivotal leader in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of technology sourcing. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including IT leadership and finance teams, to optimize technology investments and ensure operational efficiency. By driving rigorous spend analysis and managing complex vendor relationships, the incumbent will directly influence the company's bottom line and ensure that IT infrastructure and software assets are aligned with long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end IT procurement lifecycle, encompassing both software CAPEX and hardware acquisition to support organizational growth.
- Execute comprehensive spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency in IT infrastructure investments.
- Manage complex vendor negotiations and contract lifecycle management to ensure favorable terms and service level agreements.
- Oversee OPEX buyer functions, ensuring that recurring technology costs are optimized and aligned with budgetary constraints.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing frameworks that mitigate supply chain risks and ensure the timely delivery of critical IT assets.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable procurement strategies that enhance overall IT performance.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale IT procurement, with a deep understanding of both hardware and software licensing models.
- Proven ability to conduct sophisticated spend management and financial analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage high-stakes vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting complex market data to optimize procurement processes and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment in Gurgaon, maintaining high standards of accuracy and operational integrity.
- Candidates must possess 12 - 19 years of relevant experience in IT procurement and strategic sourcing roles.
- A background in managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure projects is highly preferred for this leadership position.
