
Associate Director
Role Overview:
This role will ensure seamless management of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, strategic workforce planning, global compliance, and the implementation of data-driven HR practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational excellence, strategic foresight, and high-performing, compliant, and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Oversee all stages of the employee journey - from pre-onboarding, Pre & Post BGV, onboarding, Exit etc
- Ensure consistent adherence to processes and maintain TAT.
2. Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Execute & Supervise end-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance for India & International Geographies like LATAM, MENA, APAC, etc across all entities of Gupshup
- Design competitive and compliant compensation and benefits structures aligned with business goals.
3. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure adherence to all labor laws, employment regulations, and global statutory requirements.
- Partner with internal and external auditors for periodic HR audits and risk mitigation.
4. Performance Management & Development
- Drive an effective performance management framework linked to business outcomes.
- Facilitate talent calibration, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
5. Employee Relations
- Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability through effective employee relations strategies.
- Lead conflict resolution, grievance redressal, and engagement interventions.
- Manage difficult exit conversations with empathy.
6. Global Workforce Management
- Oversee international HR operations ensuring compliance with local labor laws and practices.
- Lead initiatives for workforce planning, mobility, and localization of HR policies across regions.
7. HRMS & Automation
- Drive digital transformation in HR through process automation, self-service tools, and system integration.
- Partner with technology teams to ensure data accuracy, security, and analytics-driven decision-making.
8. Policy, Process & Workflow Management
- Design, update, and govern HR policies, SOPs, and workflows aligned to organizational goals.
- Promote process efficiency and scalability across the HR function.
9. Dashboarding & Analytics
- Develop HR dashboards to provide insights on headcount, attrition, joining etc.
- Leverage analytics to create business impact and predict workforce trends.
10. Statutory Filing & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain complete documentation for compliance, audits, and management reviews.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: MBA or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience: 12-18 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management or global HR role.
