Desired skills and qualification Role Overview
The Human Shared Services (GCC Setup) will lead the establishment and operationalization of a Human Resources Shared Services Global Capability Center that supports enterprise HR operations across geographies.
This role will be accountable for building the shared services infrastructure, defining the operating model, managing transitions, and leading delivery excellence across all HR process areas. The person will work closely with global HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to drive standardization, scalability, and superior employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. GCC Setup & Implementation
- Lead the end-to-end setup of the Human Shared Services GCC - including site readiness, operating model definition, and service transition planning.
- Drive migration of HR services such as employee data management, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, HR helpdesk, and learning administration.
- Establish governance, control frameworks, and performance metrics for the center.
2. Process Design & Transformation
- Collaborate with global HR leaders to standardize and optimize HR processes for global delivery.
- Identify opportunities for automation, self-service, and AI-driven efficiencies across the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with HR Technology teams to implement and enhance HR platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow).
3. Organization Build-Out
- Design the organization structure, hiring plan, and role framework for the GCC.
- Attract, develop, and retain a capable and service-oriented HR operations team.
- Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee centricity within the GCC.
4. Service Delivery & Performance
- Define and manage SLAs, KPIs, and service catalogs aligned to global standards.
- Drive service quality, process efficiency, and compliance with internal controls and local laws.
- Conduct periodic governance reviews with global stakeholders to assess performance and improvement areas.
5. Stakeholder & Change Management
- Act as the primary interface between the GCC and regional/global HR leadership teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparent communication during setup and stabilization.
- Lead change management, training, and communication plans to ensure smooth adoption of the new model.
