The Technology Shared Services Associate Director will play a pivotal role in the global technology team by leading J Database Services and Integration Center of Excellence (ICOE), creating a global working model, moving work from external partners to in-house, and maturing the operating model. The JCPenney Database Services and Integration Center of Excellence (ICOE) teams on both shores will report into this position. The ideal candidate will align the business strategy and industry best practices to deliver exceptional results for JCPenney. Critical Primary Responsibilities: - Serve as a senior leader within the Technology department reporting into the Senior Director of Technology Services in Plano - Build and develop teams in both Bangalore and Plano - Establish effective KPIs and SLAs that show growth, maturity and efficiency year over year - Manage 4-7 Senior Managers directly and a total team of 40-60 individual contributors - This position has entire ownership of their portfolio from Bangalore and will work with leaders on both shores to execute - Establish a global working model of interaction and a process to bring external work in-house - Establish credibility with the Plano based leaders and associates to drive work through Integration and Database Services - Approve and implement innovation to improve the organization - Ensure process and quality standards are achieved within work teams - Serve as escalation point for roadblocks slowing down or impeding delivery objectives - Provide direction, coaching, and set goals for career growth and development of the reporting team. Critical Skills &amp; Experiences : - 6+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in Information Technology leading leaders. Must include at least 3 years in a USA-based Global Inhouse Center (GIC); experience in retail desired. - Excellent at building and developing teams - Extensive experience with global teams - Strong communication (oral and written), results driven and strong accountability - Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of industry trends, tools and techniques
