We are looking for a seasoned Associate Director - Business Finance & FP&A to drive financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision-making for a leading organization.
This role will partner closely with business leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to provide actionable financial insights, improve business performance, and support growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Planning & Analysis :
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across business units.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business decisions and growth strategies.
- Track financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
Business Partnering :
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to drive business performance.
- Provide insights on pricing, investments, cost optimization, and profitability.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders on financial and commercial decisions.
Month-End Close (MEC) & Reporting :
- Oversee and drive the month-end close (MEC) process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Strengthen financial reporting frameworks and ensure consistency across business units.
- Deliver clear and concise management reports and dashboards for leadership.
Performance Management & Insights :
- Analyze key business metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive initiatives to improve financial efficiency and profitability.
- Support decision-making through data-driven insights and scenario analysis.
Process Improvement & Automation :
- Drive automation and process improvements in FP&A and reporting workflows.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management :
- Lead and mentor finance teams, fostering a culture of ownership and high performance.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams.
Required Skills & Experience :
- CA-qualified with 10-16 years of experience in Business Finance/FP&A roles.
- Strong experience in startup FMCG, retail, or e-commerce environments.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business partnering.
- Experience managing month-end close (MEC) and financial reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
