Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

Focus: Process Optimization, Strategy Execution, and Cross-Border Coordination

Role Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining the operational workflows that allow our SaaS platform to scale effectively across Japan and international hubs. You will work closely with leadership to execute strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and ensure that the Bangalore office's output aligns with the company's global financial and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Process Excellence: Identify inefficiencies in current business workflows (e.g., billing, vendor management, or internal reporting) and implement scalable automation solutions.

- Cross-Border Liaison: Serve as a key point of contact between Tokyo and Bangalore to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.

- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze operational KPIs and financial data to provide actionable recommendations for business growth and cost optimization.

- Project Management: Lead high-priority initiatives, such as setting up new internal tools or managing the operational rollout of new software modules.

- Governance & Compliance: Ensure that the Indian operations adhere to both local regulations and Japanese corporate governance standards.

- Strategic Planning: Assist the leadership team in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and long-term resource planning for the Bangalore hub.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 3-5 years in Business Operations, Management Consulting, or a similar strategic role within a high-growth tech/SaaS company.

- Language Proficiency: Professional English is mandatory. Japanese proficiency (N2 or N3 level) is highly preferred to facilitate direct communication with stakeholders in Tokyo.

- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau/Looker) to manage complex data sets.

- Problem Solving: A "first-principles" thinker who can navigate ambiguity and build processes from scratch.
