Assistant Vice President - Talent Acquisition Projects

Location: Mumbai (Preferred)

Experience: 7-10 Years

Education: MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 Business School (Preferred: IIMs, XLRI, FMS, MDI, SPJIMR, ISB, JBIMS, TISS or equivalent)

About the Role:

We are looking for a high-potential Assistant Vice President Talent Acquisition Projects to drive strategic hiring initiatives, transformation projects, and recruitment excellence across the organization. This is a high-impact role for someone with strong project management capabilities, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to solve complex hiring challenges through data-driven decision-making. The incumbent will work closely with senior business leaders, HR leadership, Talent Acquisition teams, and external partners to lead enterprise-wide recruitment projects, improve hiring processes, and implement best-in-class talent acquisition practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition Projects:

- Lead strategic talent acquisition projects across business verticals and functions.

- Drive large-scale hiring programs, niche talent acquisition initiatives, and organization-wide recruitment campaigns.

- Manage end-to-end project planning, execution, governance, and delivery within defined timelines.

2. Recruitment Transformation:

- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.

- Drive TA transformation initiatives through automation, AI, analytics, and digital solutions.

- Standardize recruitment processes, governance, and best practices across businesses.

3. Stakeholder Management:

- Partner with Business Heads, HR Business Partners, and senior leadership to understand workforce requirements.

- Act as a strategic advisor on hiring strategy, talent availability, and market intelligence.

- Present project updates and hiring dashboards to leadership teams.

4. Analytics & Reporting:

- Develop recruitment dashboards and project MIS.

- Monitor key hiring metrics including:

1. Time to Hire

2. Cost per Hire

3. Offer Acceptance Ratio

4. Quality of Hire

5. Diversity Hiring

5. Vendor & Partner Management:

- Manage executive search firms, RPO partners, recruitment vendors, and assessment partners.

- Ensure adherence to SLAs, budgets, and governance frameworks.

6. Change Management:

- Lead cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.

- Drive adoption of new recruitment technologies and operating models.

- Build project governance frameworks and ensure successful implementation.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 Business School.

- 7-10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Consulting, Recruitment Strategy, or Talent.
