Assistant Vice President - SOC Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Cyber Security professional with 10+ years of experience in leading 24x7 Security Operations Centers (SOC), driving security governance, incident response, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee 24x7 SOC operations and governance through dashboards and MIS reporting.

- Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI, NCIIPC, and other regulatory requirements.

- Conduct and monitor cyber security audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.

- Drive incident management, change management, and major incident governance.

- Monitor security events, detect threats, and coordinate vulnerability remediation.

- Manage SOC documentation, audit evidence, and regulatory submissions.

- Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, vendors, and business stakeholders.

- Prepare periodic security reports and risk dashboards for CISO and management.

- Review and govern security technologies such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, and Threat Intelligence platforms.

- Support security awareness, training, and cross-functional knowledge sharing.

- Drive process improvement and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

- Assist in cloud security governance across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong knowledge of SOC Operations, SIEM, EDR/XDR, Threat Intelligence, and Log Management.

- Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), Incident & Change Management.

- Good understanding of network security, IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security.

- Strong governance, reporting, analytical, stakeholder, and vendor management skills.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, GSEC are preferred.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
