About the Role:

Drive enterprise-wide process maturity, digital integration, governance, and controls to enable the next phase of scale, investor readiness, and operational excellence. Build scalable processes, integrate enterprise systems, eliminate manual controls, drive automation, improve data integrity, and establish governance across all business functions.

Job Purpose:

Lead enterprise-wide business process transformation by designing scalable processes, strengthening internal controls, integrating digital systems, and driving automation across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, finance, service, HR, and corporate functions.

The role will be responsible for establishing a robust operating model that enables business scale, improves data reliability, enhances governance, and ensures seamless integration between business processes and enterprise applications.

This position will work closely with the CFO, CIO/IT team, functional heads, and leadership team to build a best-in-class operational backbone for a rapidly scaling automotive OEM.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Process Transformation:

- Map, redesign, and optimize end-to-end business processes across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Plan-to-Produce, Service-to-Cash, and Hire-to-Retire.

- Standardize business processes across all functions and locations.

- Eliminate manual dependencies and fragmented workflows.

- Establish process ownership and governance structures.

2. Enterprise Systems & Digital Integration:

- Lead integration of ERP, CRM, Dealer Management System, Manufacturing Systems, HRMS, Inventory Management, PLM, and Finance platforms.

- Define system architecture and data governance requirements.

- Ensure seamless integration between business processes and enterprise applications.

- Drive ERP optimization and adoption across business functions.

- Partner with IT teams and external technology vendors for implementation and enhancement programs.

3. Internal Controls & Governance:

- Design and institutionalize preventive and detective controls across business processes.

- Establish approval matrices, maker-checker controls, and segregation-of-duty frameworks.

- Strengthen audit readiness and compliance processes.

- Build process controls to support future IPO or public-company requirements.

- Lead remediation of observations identified through internal audit, statutory audits, and due diligence exercises.

4. Master Data & Data Governance:

- Build enterprise-wide data governance framework.

- Ensure consistency and ownership of customer master, vendor master, material master, BOMs, product configurations, and employee master.

- Improve data accuracy and reporting integrity.

5. Process Automation & Analytics:

- Identify automation opportunities using workflow tools, AI, and digital platforms.

- Reduce manual interventions in finance and operational processes.

- Implement KPI-driven dashboards and performance reporting.

- Drive adoption of Power BI, ERP analytics, and business intelligence platforms.

- Establish process performance monitoring mechanisms.

6. Change Management & Leadership:

- Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

- Build process excellence culture across functions.

- Train business teams on process discipline and systems adoption.

- Develop Process Owners and Functional Champions.

- Drive sustainable change and governance reviews.

- Shared services or process transformation centers.

Educational Qualifications:

- BE / B Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Operations or Quality preferred.

- Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant.
