Assistant Vice President - Regulatory Operations

Role:

- Must have work experience in exchanges, depositories and related financial institutions, etc.

Job Description:

- Ensuring smooth functioning of all Regulatory activities related to Depository inter-alia including compliances thereof, along with, regulatory disclosures, compliance requirements

- Awareness about regulations related to DP Admission and ISIN Admission

- Ability to engage with various stakeholders including regulators, MIIs, auditors, depository participants, issuers, RTAs, internal stake holders and vendors, etc.

- Spearheading transformation initiatives for implementing software developments/system enhancements for critical operations and capability to actively collaborate with technology, regulatory and other functional teams

- Ability to pro-actively contribute to identifying enhancements, automation of activities, business transformation ideas, ability to define and use business analytics and MIS for improvement in key metrics for operations functions

- In-depth knowledge of Indian securities markets value chain, the market infrastructure institutions (MIIs) and in particular the depository activities

- In-depth understanding of regulatory framework including SEBI regulations, circulars and assesses its impact on the operations

- Should actively participate in regulatory policy making and market development initiatives taken up by SEBI

- Expertise in leading a, diverse team to manage process driven activities to be performed as per defined SOP's

- Should be able to handle exceptional situations, crisis scenarios and manage business continuity of the operations functions

- Should possess very good inter-personal and communication skills. Should have proven skills in the area of problem solving and decision making

- Work experience with MII or SEBI registered intermediary shall be an added advantage
