Position Overview:
Our Client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Human Resources with a strong recruitment DNA and a strategic mindset to shape and lead the talent function of the organization. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in building the company's human capital from the ground up-especially in scaling operations, engineering, and field teams.
This role demands high ownership, the ability to work in an entrepreneurial setup, and a passion for bringing structure to fast-growing organizations. You will work directly with the leadership team to craft and execute people strategies that foster high performance, agility, and long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including employer branding, sourcing, evaluation, and offer management.
- Partner with function heads to identify short- and long-term manpoTheyr requirements aligned with business priorities.
- Build recruitment metrics dashboards, reduce time-to-hire, and improve quality-of-hire using data-driven methods.
- Develop campus hiring, lateral pipelines, and partner networks to support scale-up across technical and commercial teams.
Organizational Design & Talent Development
- Define HR structures and policies that support organizational growth and efficiency.
- Institutionalize performance management, succession planning, and internal mobility frameworks.
- Launch and manage learning & development programs aligned with functional upskilling needs.
- Set up onboarding processes that foster engagement from Day 1.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HR processes, compliance, audits, and records.
- Ensure statutory adherence to labor laws, safety, and regulatory frameworks in multiple states.
Culture Building & Employer Brand
- Foster a culture that reflects Oyester's values-Sustainability, Ownership, Innovation, and Inclusion.
- Drive internal communication, employee engagement initiatives, and DEI programs.
- Champion the HR function as a business enabler and coach to business heads.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in HR or related field from a reputed institute.
- 15-18 years of HR experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in energy, infrastructure or other project-driven sectors is strongly preferred.
Competencies:
- Deep knowledge of recruitment systems, ATS tools, and talent analytics.
- Strong people orientation with the ability to build from scratch.
- Proven experience in managing scale, ambiguity, and multi-location teams.
- Strategic thinker with operational excellence.
