They are seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our team and help drive our most valuable asset-our people.
Role Summary
This is a senior leadership role, serving as the number two in command within the HR function. The GM/AVP - HR will act as a strategic partner to the Head of HR and business leaders, responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of Human Resources for our India and overseas operations.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with extensive experience in the EPC industry, capable of developing and executing HR strategies that align with our global business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with senior management to design and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support the company's long-term goals.
- Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for domestic and international positions, from manpower planning and budgeting to onboarding. Develop robust talent management and succession planning frameworks.
- Organizational Development: Lead initiatives related to performance management, employee development, and organizational design to enhance efficiency and employee engagement.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage the design and administration of competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and reward systems for all locations, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues. Ensure full compliance with labor laws and regulations across all regions of operation.
- International HR Operations: Manage all HR aspects for our overseas projects and offices, including international assignments, mobility, expatriate management, and local compliance.
- HR Operations & Analytics: Drive the efficiency of HR operations through technology and best practices. Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and inform business decisions.
- Culture & Engagement: Champion initiatives that reinforce our corporate values and foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Required
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Full-time MBA in HR or a Master's degree in Human Resources from a reputable institution.
- Experience: A minimum of 20+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Industry Expertise: Significant experience within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry is mandatory.
- Global Exposure: Proven track record of managing HR functions for both Indian and international operations.
