Job Title AVP - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance)
You will play a critical strategic leadership role, working closely with the senior leadership team to drive financial planning, performance management, investor communication, and growth initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of financial strategy, business partnering, investor relations, M&A exposure, pricing analytics, and governance, with the ability to influence decision-making across sales, procurement, deployment, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling to provide actionable insights Develop robust financial models to support strategic decisions and growth initiatives
- Track business performance against targets and recommend corrective actions to outperform plans
- Act as a strategic finance partner to business units and functional leaders Investor Relations & Board Support Prepare quarterly, annual, board, and investor presentations, including performance dashboards Support leadership in responding to investor queries and information requests
- Maintain and continuously enhance investor communication materials and financial narratives Provide insights on business performance, growth outlook, and financial health Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Identify and evaluate potential acquisition or strategic investment opportunities Lead and support financial, commercial, and market due diligence, including synergy assessment
- Assist in deal structuring, valuation, negotiations, and post-merger integration planning Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution Pricing, IRR & ROI Analysis
- Drive pricing strategy and investment evaluation using IRR, ROI, and cost-benefit frameworks Evaluate commercial proposals in collaboration with Sales and Procurement teams Analyze deal-level profitability and recommend optimal pricing and commercial structures Support leadership with data-driven recommendations on large or strategic deals Business Partnering & Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with Sales, Deployment, Procurement, and Operations to optimize margins and costs Support deal structuring, vendor negotiations, and procurement strategies Enable financial discipline while supporting aggressive growth objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor to functional heads on financial and strategic matters Strategic Reporting & Analytics Design and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and management reports Highlight key risks, opportunities, and performance gaps with clear recommendations
- Provide insights to support corporate growth, expansion, and capital allocation decisions Compliance, Governance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks Support statutory, internal, and investor audits Identify financial and operational risks and drive mitigation strategies
Skills & Qualifications:
- Mandatory Qualifications Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory MBA (Finance) is an added advantage
- Experience 10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or consulting Experience in mid to large organizations, infrastructure, technology, or consulting environments preferred Technical & Functional Skills Strong experience in FP&A, financial modeling, pricing strategy, and investor relations
- Hands-on exposure to M&A evaluation and due diligence Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools Working knowledge of Hyperion, SAP BPC, Anaplan, or similar planning systems
- Behavioral & Leadership Skills Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities Ability to communicate complex financial insights to senior leadership and investors
- Strategic mindset with strong execution orientation High ownership, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
