Required Qualifications:
CA with EPC company experience is must
Minimum 20 -25 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 10 years in a senior financial role within an EPC or construction company.
Knowledge:
- Sound Contractual knowledge
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP and Power BI dashboards
- Strong knowledge of EPC project finance, contract accounting, and cost control.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:
- The AVP-Finance and Accounts will assist the Chief Financial Officer in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring sound financial management, and driving strategic financial planning.
- This role requires strong expertise in finance and accounting, with a focus on project finance, cost control, risk management, and compliance.
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports. Assist the CFO in providing insightful analysis to support decision-making.
- Monitor financial KPIs across ongoing projects, ensuring cost-to-completion accuracy and adherence to budget.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Oversee accurate recognition of contract revenue and expenses using the percentage of completion (POC) method as per AS-7.
- Coordinate internal and external audits. Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Performing month-end reporting to management (MIS) on status of accounting activities and deliverables.
- Accurately identifying problems, exceptions and ensuring that all stakeholders are kept updated on time.
- Verifies and record payments and transactions related to accounts receivable and accounts payables including monthly reconciliations.
- Supervise direct and indirect tax planning, filing, and compliance (GST, Corporate Tax, TDS, etc.).
- Provide guidance on international taxation and transfer pricing in cross-border contracts.
- Good understanding of Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantees.
- Coordination with Sales/BD team on imparting knowledge and risk management on specific Contractual conditions during Tender/Offer stage.
- Research discrepancies with focus on collection of old outstanding amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other departments.
- Focal points to regions with regards to accounts related to Customer and Vendor.
- Ensuring all databases and reports are up to date with latest review developments, risks, findings, issues and results.
