Key Responsibilities:


Design Leadership & Delivery


- Lead and oversee the design function across multiple cities in India.


- Drive the creative vision and design philosophy of organization for workplace and commercial interiors.


- Review and approve design concepts, layouts, and presentations ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand ethos.


- Ensure all design outputs are innovative, functional, sustainable, and delivered to the highest quality standards.


Client & Stakeholder Management:


- Engage with clients at CXO and senior leadership levels to understand requirements, present design concepts, and influence decisions.


- Act as the design face of organization in client presentations, pitches, and industry forums.


- Collaborate with business development teams during pitches to create winning design-led solutions.


Team & Process Management:


- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing design team (architects, interior designers, visualizers).


- Implement best practices, workflows, and quality checks across the design lifecycle.


- Drive adoption of organization proprietary VR tech platform in the design process.


- Ensure strong collaboration with project execution, procurement, and estimation teams for seamless delivery.


Strategic Contribution:


- Stay updated on global design trends, sustainability practices, and workplace innovation.


- Contribute to positioning organization as a thought leader in workspace design.


- Support leadership in defining design strategy, service offerings, and regional growth.


Required Qualifications & Skills:


- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.


- 12+ years of professional experience in workplace/commercial interior design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.


- Strong portfolio showcasing large-scale corporate/commercial projects.


- Proven ability to lead and manage multi-city design teams.


- Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.


- Experience in integrating technology into the design process (VR, BIM, visualization tools preferred).


- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.


Preferred Attributes:


- Experience with top design firms, workplace consulting practices, or global design-build organizations.


- Familiarity with sustainability certifications (LEED, WELL, IGBC).


- Ability to balance creativity with practicality and budget alignment.
