About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified finance professional to lead the Accounts & Finance function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial governance, statutory compliance, financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, and strategic financial planning while leading a high-performing finance team. This role requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and a thorough understanding of the BFSI/NBFC regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end financial accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and present Management Information System (MIS) reports, budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to senior leadership.
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow planning, working capital, and banking relationships to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other financial compliances.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits while strengthening internal financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Oversee costing, inventory valuation, and cost optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Partner with business leaders to support financial planning, strategic decision-making, and business performance analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational excellence within the finance function.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts within the BFSI or NBFC sector.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting standards, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in leading and managing finance teams.
Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning capabilities.
- Strong understanding of treasury management, budgeting, and cash flow optimization.
- Experience in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and regulated business environment.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Candidates with prior experience in BFSI, NBFC, Lending, Financial Services, or FinTech organizations will be preferred.
