
Associate Vice President Compensation | Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall Compensation & Benefits strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, talent priorities, market competitiveness, and internal equity.
- Establish governance frameworks for salary reviews, promotions, bonuses, incentives, and compensation-related decision-making.
- Design and manage annual compensation cycles, including appraisals, salary increments, promotions, bonus payouts, and short-term incentive (STI) programs.
- Partner with business leaders and HR teams to align performance management and reward strategies with organizational goals.
- Drive job evaluation, grading, and job architecture using Mercer or equivalent methodologies, ensuring consistency across the organization.
- Conduct market benchmarking and provide data-driven compensation recommendations to leadership.
- Define incentive structures, payout mechanisms, eligibility criteria, and performance thresholds for reward programs.
- Lead digitization and automation of compensation processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, governance, and audit readiness.
- Advise senior leadership, CHRO, and HR stakeholders on compensation strategy, rewards philosophy, and workforce planning decisions.
- Present compensation insights, analytics, and recommendations to executive leadership and governance committees.
- Manage and develop the Compensation & Benefits team, driving capability building, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Ensure compliance with local and international compensation regulations, corporate governance standards, and organizational policies.
- Support sustainability initiatives and promote adherence to environmental, health, safety, and ethical business practices.
- Drive continuous process improvement and best practices across Total Rewards and Compensation functions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- MBA/Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or related field.
- 15-20 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards, including global leadership exposure.
- Strong expertise in compensation strategy, rewards design, job evaluation, market benchmarking, and incentive planning.
