AVP - Asset Management Operations (US Business)

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Experience: 8- 12 years

We are seeking a senior operations leader to support the US Asset Management business, with a strong focus on credit products (High Yield Bonds and Leveraged Loans). This is a leadership role responsible for end- to- end investment operations, governance, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end- to- end investment operations for US- based asset management portfolios

- Lead and manage teams responsible for portfolio reconciliation, NAV oversight, and performance reporting

- Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, risk events, and service delivery

- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of client, regulatory, and management reporting

- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational controls

- Partner closely with US stakeholders, custodians, fund administrators, and internal governance teams

- Support audits, compliance reviews, and ongoing risk management frameworks

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- 13- 15 years of experience in Asset Management / Investment Operations

Strong hands- on exposure to:

- Portfolio Reconciliation

- NAV Validation / Oversight

- Performance & Attribution Reporting

- Fund Operations / Fund Accounting Oversight

- Product experience in Fixed Income / Credit products, preferably:

High Yield Bonds

Leveraged Loans

- Experience working with custodians and fund administrators

- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, audits, and governance

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (mandatory)

- Postgraduate qualification (MBA / CA / CFA) preferred
