We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Assistant Sales Manager to contribute significantly to our sales targets and market expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with proven sales experience in industrial or capital equipment sectors. This role involves managing key client relationships, driving business development initiatives, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Drive sales of specialized industrial products, project solutions, capital equipment, machinery tools, material handling equipment, or construction equipment.
- Target Achievement: Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall market growth and revenue generation.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing customers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Utilize analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify new market opportunities, potential customers, and areas for growth.
- Sales Pitch & Negotiation: Conduct excellent presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals effectively.
- Team Coordination: Demonstrate leadership qualities by effectively coordinating with internal departments (e.g., Technical, Operations, Finance) to ensure smooth project delivery and address client needs promptly.
- Reporting & Documentation: Utilize MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to manage sales data, prepare detailed proposals, and generate accurate sales reports.
- Time Management: Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to perform under tight deadlines.
- Customer Focus: Maintain a strong customer orientation and proactively address customer inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Required: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
- Preferred: Candidates with an MBA (Marketing/Sales) will be given preference.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in sales within one or more of the following product/industry areas
