
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for chemical raw materials and packaging materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to ensure timely material availability and avoid stock-outs.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Finance, and other internal teams to align procurement with business requirements.
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure accurate procurement documentation.
- Track supplier deliveries and follow up on pending orders to ensure adherence to committed timelines.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, including quality, delivery, pricing, and responsiveness.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and support cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement/purchase, preferably within the chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or related industry.
- Experience in sourcing chemical raw materials and/or packaging materials is preferred.
- Strong vendor development and price negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and purchase documentation.
