Job Description:
The Asst. Manager - Project / Maintenance is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring project and maintenance activities to ensure efficient plant operations. The role involves managing new project implementation, equipment installation, layout planning, and related approval documentation while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute new projects, expansions, and modification activities within defined timelines and budgets.
- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Manage equipment installation, commissioning, and validation support.
- Prepare and maintain project-related documents, layouts, and approval dossiers.
- Coordinate with production, QA, engineering, vendors, and contractors for project and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, resource utilization, and contractor performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance systems and project execution
