Assistant Manager Legal Department: Legal Location: Hyderabad Experience: 2-5 years Salary: 8 LPA - 10 LPA Industry: Environmental Services / Infrastructure / Manufacturing / Utilities Reporting To: Legal Head - Legal Role Objective: To support the legal team in contract drafting, compliance, litigation coordination, and day-to-day legal matters of the company. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law looking to grow in a dynamic legal environment. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and vet legal agreements including NDAs, MoUs, service contracts, and vendor agreements - Assist in maintaining legal documentation and contract databases - Coordinate with internal departments for contract execution and clarifications - Support the litigation team by preparing briefs, coordinating with external counsels, and maintaining case records - Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements - Conduct legal research and provide inputs on applicable laws and regulatory changes - Assist in handling labour law, company law, and environmental compliance-related documentation Skills Required: - Good understanding of Contract Act, Companies Act, Labour Laws, and Commercial Laws - Strong legal drafting and analytical skills - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments - Proficiency in MS Office and basic legal documentation tools - Effective communication and interpersonal skills Educational Qualification: - LLB from a reputed university (LLM is a plus but not mandatory) - 2 to 5 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm Preferred Industry Backgrounds: - Infrastructure / Urban Services - Manufacturing / Process Industry - Environmental Services / Waste Management - Logistics / Utilities - Real Estate / Facility Management
